Your TV, or computer screen has a specific resolution, which consists of Pixels. Pixel are small color lamps which draw the image on the display. Number of pixels, or pixels in height and width that the screen can show.

display resolution

For example 4K resolution has a density of pixels of 2304 x 4096, which currently is the highest available on the market.

We can easy compare HD resolution which has a 1920 x 1080 pixels comparing to the 4K resolution which has 3840 x 2160 pixels. Depending on Display form, pixels can differ in numbers.

Having a a TV with a resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels, more than 8 million pixels in total. That is several times more pixels than Full HD TV’s with (1,920 x 1,080).1080p-vs-4K

Should You Buy a 4K TV?

Well, all shops are recommending us to upgrade to the 4K TVs. Just remember that it will take some time till you will not have to search for a 4K TV Channel or video. Currently, most videos we see are in Full HD 1080p formats.

One more thing is that first HD TVs launched in 1998, and it took several years till everyone made the decision that it is the time to upgrade to HD. Same with the 4K. Certainly you will not loose your money for buying a 4K TV, but make sure that you have the 4K content to watch, like 4K movies, 4K channels, or a camera which can film 4K.
