Today almost everyone hates Lan cables. Wi-Fi has become one of the best technologies which we use everyday at home, at school and even in office at work.
Having Wi-Fi for big range is very hard, Wi-Fi range is limited due to many factors. So even at home you can find a good Wi-Fi spot, or if you cannot, what you can do about to have the Wi-Fi signal in every room?
It’s possible and it’s simple, to get Wi-Fi to every room or every corner of your home or office you should use a Wi-Fi extender.

What is Wi-Fi Extender?
Wi-Fi extenders sometimes called Wi-Fi repeaters or Wi-Fi boosters. These are simple devices that are used to boost the singal from your router to extend the signal range.
The Wi-Fi routers claim to reach the distance of 250 feet, usually this depends based on different interferences factors.
The firs thing you will have to do, is of course to buy a Wi-Fi router and set it on a good spot. Then to find out in which areas you will need an Wi-Fi extender which will catch Wi-Fi signal either through Wireless and send it further, either through cable from your router.
Wi-Fi extender is connection to your router, and rebroadcasts it’s signal, as the results Wi-Fi extender is acting like your router clone, where you can connect to it and use Wi-Fi.
What to Expect From a Wi-Fi Extender?
You should know that Wi-Fi extenders have their disadvantages. You have to know that a router is better that a Wi-Fi extender. Wi-Fi extender will always have lower Mbps than you router. If you have a 300 Mbps router, your Wi-Fi extender can be 100 Mbps, but depending on situations it can go down to 50 Mbps.
Also you should invest in more expensive Wi-Fi extenders which are using dual-band Wi-Fi. Wireless routers can communicate on two bands: 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. The 5 Ghz band is a newer specification so older devices don’t have that capability.
Dual-band extenders will communicate on both bands and will result a higher data speed.

Other Recommendations: Powerline Adapters
Instead of Wi-Fi extenders you could easy use Powerline Adapters, which are more easy to configure and setup.
Basically you don’t need to do anything specific, than buying a pair of these. One Powerline adapter you stick it into your power outlet electrical wiring near your router, and connect it to your router with a Lan cable, and second one you stick it in the power outlet electrical wiring in the room you need internet.
As a result your home electrical wiring will be used as a LAN, through it you your router will send signals from one Powerline Adapter to another one, or you can add even 3rd or more Powerline adapters. To them you can connect any device, or another Wi-Fi extender or router.
The latest Powerline Adapters models are supporting speeds of up to 1200 Mbps. Of course it depends on the length of your home electric wiring.
