bluetooth htc

A lot of HTC One users reported having problems when trying to connect through Bluetooth to another devices. Trying to find a solution to this problem, i found out that it’s a common problem for the entire HTC  One models gallery.

To fix this try bellow methods:

[dropcap type=”1″]1[/dropcap]Delete all pairings on the phone
Head to Settings > Bluetooth and delete the pairs. Also delete the pairs on the device which you are trying to make a connection between.

[dropcap type=”1″]2[/dropcap]Change device name
Some devices may refuse a bluetooth connection which has a name with special characters. Go to Settings > Bluetooth and change the Device name using letters only.

[dropcap type=”1″]3[/dropcap]Problems sending messages?
If you are trying to send messages through bluetooth, check if the Message Access is On, heading to Settings > Bluetooth > Advance

[dropcap type=”1″]4[/dropcap]Use a users made app
If nothing from above helped, you can install and use a Bluetooth File Transfer app. On the play market there are a bunch of good free apps.

[dropcap type=”1″]5[/dropcap]Reset phone’s settings
This is probably the last solution, if nothing helps then you might make a Factory Reset. But make sure you create a backup before resetting your phone. To reset go to Settings > Backup and Reset > Factory Reset

Nothing from above helped? Feel free to ask your carrier, retailer or manufacturer for a repair or a replacement device.
