An ISO file is an image of a CD/DVD. Usualy you burn them directly to a disk/drive, but what if you don’t need to burn them on a fizical disk/drive?
We can extract the files from inside or view them, and this is what you’ll read below.
[dropcap type=”1″]1[/dropcap]Extract .ISO files using RAR extracting tools
To extract .ISO files is not necesare to download a specially designed app for this. Almost all computers have already installed a RAR extractor and it works just fine in our case.
Try right-clicking on the .ISO file and select one option from: Extract Files… Extract here, or Extract to this directory. The files should immediately start extracting to the folder you selected.
If you can’t find Extract methods, seems that you don’t have a RAR extractor tool installed. Check the next method.

Step 1: Download and install an application like: Daemon Tools, Pismo File Mount or Microsoft Virtual CD-ROM Virtual Panel
Step 2: After you installed the application, find it’s tray icon on the Start bar near the clock (for windows users) right-click on it and select Mount. Browse computer files and select the .ISO file you want to mount. Now you should find the .ISO file mounted in My computer as a usual drive, access it and copy whatever you want. When you finish, unmount it by right-clicking the drive and select Unmount drive.
